On 19 September, at 4:30 pm, in Exhibition Room, the Social Work Masterclass will be held, open to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students in Social Work.
‘The sustainability of rights in the contemporary city: Social Work and older people as co-creators of solutions for the future’ is the theme of this masterclass, which will be led by Professor Yolanda de la Fuente Robles (Professor of Social Work and Social Services at the University of Jaén). With a remarkable track record in research, social innovation and the defence of human rights, Professor Yolanda de la Fuente Robles offers a timely and necessary reflection on the challenges of ageing, social cohesion and intergenerational justice.
Inspired by the motto of World Social Work Day 2025 – ‘Buen Vivir: the future is possible when there is intergenerational solidarity’ – this masterclass focuses on the sustainability of rights in the contemporary city, calling on the role of social work and older people as co-creators of solutions for the future.
