Social and Solidarity Economy

This course aims to provide students with introductory knowledge about:
a) The basic principles of market economies,
b) State intervention in the economy, namely the welfare state and its limits,
c) The connections between the social economy and the objectives of corporate social responsibility,
d) The nature of social economy organizations and how they are integrated into the market economy and their contribution to social cohesion and sustainability,
e) The evaluation of social economy organizations and projects.
