Students should:
1) Understand the epistemological assumptions and different approaches in qualitative research;
2) Analyse the development stages of a qualitative research project in Social Sciences;
3) Discuss criteria for decision making in each step of the research procedure promoting the progressive autonomy of the students in conducting research in Social Sciences;
4) Learn different methods and techniques for qualitative data collection and analysis;
5) Know how to apply qualitative data collection and analysis methods, and use software to support qualitative data analysis.
