To critically debate the main current theoretical perspectives of public policy analysis. To debate the models of public policies analysis and their application to the field of Social Policy. To analyze and debate the potential of the public policy theoretical and instrumental frameworks in the Social Policy realm of relevance to social work. At the end of this course, PhD students should be able to understand the fundamentals to the analysis and determination of public policies as well as to critically discuss the role to be assumed by social work in this field.
