Professional Practice Lab II: Social Diagnosis

Professional Practice Lab II aims to consolidate previously initiated learning, focusing on the development of an in-depth social diagnosis that enables a systemic understanding of the observed issues. It promotes the application of action-research methodologies, the strengthening of professional autonomy, and critical analysis skills, while integrating the ethical principles and values of Social Work.

By the end of the course unit, the student should be able to:
- Integrate autonomously into organizational, business, or community settings for supervised practice;
- Conduct an in-depth social diagnosis using action-research methodologies;
- Construct and apply theoretical frameworks appropriate for understanding the observed social problems;
- Formulate intervention hypotheses and propose well-founded courses of action;
- Demonstrate ethical behaviour and professional decision-making capacity;
- Produce critical reports, articulating theory and practice
