The main objective of this curricular unit will be to explore and learn different methods and tools for practicing journalism, while at the same time it is essential to take into account the rules that define this practice in order to provide students with the means to structure and design a quality work of journalism. To achieve these objectives, it is essential, first of all, to deconstruct journalism as a whole and explore what types of media are used to conceive journalism. At the same time, it is important to take into account the type of rights and duties that prevail in the journalistic profession, and how ethics and deontology play a preponderant role in this field. In order to be able to explore these and other themes in depth, it is essential that this curricular unit has a strong focus on the practice of journalism.
