Cognition and Creativity

6 ECTS / Semester / English
The study of cognitive processes has become a key issue to understanding human behaviour and cultural performance. How much of our cognition is universal and how much of it culture based? And how can one be "creative" within a stable framework of cognitive conditions? What does creativity mean and how does it work "cognitively"? The seminar seeks to develop these questions without pre-empting the answers.
