At the end of the semester each student must:
1. Be able to recognize the specificity of History of Ancient Philosophy among the different curricular areas.
2. Know the fundamental guidelines of the development of western thought from its early beginnings to the dawn of the Middle Age.
3. Know the whole of the matters under study and be able to have a critical view on them.
4. Be able, at the end of the semester, to produce a personal critical synthesis on any point of the syllabus.
