Israel Campos, a former student of the Undergraduate Degree in Communication and Cultural Sciences and the Master's Degree in Communication Studies, was the winner of the 43rd edition of the Ferreira de Castro National Youth Literature Prize, with his short story ‘A Última Gota’ (The Last Drop).
For this award, participants were challenged to show their literary quality, promoting literacy and personal and social development. For this edition, the competition genres were short story and travelogue.
Created in 1983 and promoted by the Ferreira de Castro National Youth Literature Prize Association (APNLJFC) and the Ferreira de Castro School Group, this literary prize aims to encourage the writing of young Portuguese and Portuguese-descendants from the Portuguese Communities, young Portuguese living abroad and young PALOP people, and has the High Patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Portugal.
