Strategic Management of Organizations and Social Innovation

6 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese
This course aims to develop competences in strategic analysis, management and ethical leadership in public, private and social organisations, with a focus on social value creation and innovation. Students are expected to understand major strategic management models, analyse complex organisational contexts, identify challenges and opportunities, and formulate intervention proposals aligned with organisational mission and sustainability.

Competences:
1. Explain key concepts of strategic management, governance and leadership in organisations;
2. Analyse internal and external contexts, identifying stakeholders, risks, resources and opportunities;
3. Formulate strategic objectives and action options coherent with organisational mission, vision and values;
4. Integrate principles of social innovation and social value creation into strategic planning processes;
5. Understand basic models of performance and impact measurement in social economy organisations.
