This UC consists of the participation in R&D projects by PhD students in national or international research units, preferably external to the promoting faculties, inserted in research projects/lines relevant to their thesis project, and may be developed in the units in which the respective tutors are integrated if this proves necessary and appropriate.

Objectives:

• Provide opportunities for integration and monitoring the development of research projects;
• Participate in national and/or foreign research networks;
• Provide opportunities for contact with environments rich in scientific culture.
