This seminar explores the intersections of migration and environmental change across Asia. Over eight sessions, students will study how climate stress, ecological degradation, development projects, and resource conflicts shape patterns of mobility. Topics include labour migration, displacement, border regimes, and environmental justice. The seminar adopts an interdisciplinary approach to understand how human movement and environmental concerns are redefining social, political, economic, and ecological futures in Asia and beyond.
