By the end of the semester, students should be able to critically analyze the different conceptions about place of the human in the cosmos, through the way in which the progress of knowledge has been established, from mythological cosmogonies to the indeterminism of contemporary physics, through the theocentric and anthropocentric that accompanied the geocentric and heliocentric models, ending with the contact with the current perplexities that theoretical physicists face in our days.
