Together with Hanna Pięta, assistant professor at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and researcher at CETAPS (Portugal), and Ester Torres-Simón, assistant professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain) and researcher at GREGAL Research Group, CECC's researcher Rita Bueno Maia, who is also an assistant professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, launched a new book: Indirect Translation Explained (2022, London & New York: Routledge).

Integrated in the book series "Translation Practices Explained", it is the first comprehensive book on the practice of translating indirectly today. Besides not focusing on translating from the original, it difers from previous works by the fact that it offers practical advice on how to efficiently translate (i) from an already translated text and (ii) for the specific purpose of further translation.
