The Infographics and Webdesign class offers the knowledge and instruments for analysing, designing and developing efficient and innovating projects for the Web and for digital infographics. While mastering the latest tools for digital creation, students are prepared with the essential foundations to meet the constant demands of the new media world. During the semester, students develop new concepts and graphic techniques while iteratively producing prototypes while retaining the focus on the user experience. At the end, they produce a digital project ready for publishing on the Web. At the end of the course, students should be able to: 1. Plan a digital project, 2. Be familiarized with the process of website and infographics production, 3. Insert multimedia assets and apply interactive effects in Web interfaces, 4. Master the tools and languages needs to build Web interfaces, 5. Be skilled with digital designs, 6. Reveal competences in communicating through visual information, 7. Demonstrate abilities to collect, aggregate and validate data, 8. Develop creative capabilities, 9. Search for new technical solutions.
