English IV

3.5 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese
Students on the course should be proficient users of English at Level C1.1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Objectives: To develop students' vocabulary, allowing them to express viewpoints on a wide variety of topics. To consolidate grammatical knowledge, working toward improving previously learned grammatical structures and syntax. To expose students to a wide variety of demanding texts, with implicit meanings. To help students work on their oral presentation skills and their ability to produce clear, well-structured speech on complex topics. To teach students how to expand and organize their own learning tools for continuous learning purposes.
