PhD candidate in Psychology: Emotions and Well-Being at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Master’s degree in Social and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Lisbon, he has been a Visiting Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 2025. Between 2021 and 2022, he collaborated with the Experimental Psychology Laboratory of the Faculty of Psychology, and is currently a researcher at the Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing.
He is the scientific coordinator and visiting lecturer of executive education programs and postgraduate courses. Founder and CEO of EQ-Training, a company specialized in training in emotional intelligence, stress management, and conflict management, he collaborates with several organizations in the field of socio-emotional development.
He is the author of the books Emotional Intelligence: A Practical Approach (2019), Managing Emotions: A Practical Guide (2022), and Overcoming Procrastination: 36 Scientifically Proven Strategies (2025).
He is the author of the books Inteligência Emocional: uma abordagem prática (2019), Gerir Emoções: um guia prático (2022), and Vencer a Procrastinação: 36 estratégias cientificamente comprovadas (2025).
His main research interests focus on emotion beliefs and emotion regulation.
