Post-Graduate diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology, University of Salamanca (2004-2006). Hospital Assistant at the Neuropsychology Unit of the Psychiatric Hospital Centre of Lisbon. Clinical psychology at the Psychogeriatric Centre in Belas belonging to the Irmãs Hospitaleiras Institute, and Vice-President of the Ethics for Health Commission. Guest Professor and co-coordinator of the Post-Graduate Program in Psychogerontology at ICS-UCP and in other University Institutes. Founder and board member of the Portuguese Psychogerontology Association (1999-2011). Responsible for the design, planning and pedagogical coordination of the professional and graduate training programs within the Psychogerontology framework. Consultant to the Cascais Municipal Council on the Qualification of Day Care Centres and the Working Group on Mental Health and Ageing for the Department of Psychiatric and Mental Health Services, the General Directorate of Health. Author and co-author of scientific journal articles within the scope of Health, Psychology, Gerontology and Geriatry as well as a keynote speaker at national and international events.
