On April 29, the Faculty of Human Sciences and Novobanco signed a cooperation agreement aimed at fostering synergies in the areas of education, research, and development.

The agreement foresees the joint implementation of initiatives such as training programs, academic events, and student opportunities, strengthening the connection between academia and the corporate sector.

One of the highlights of this partnership is the link with the School of Postgraduate and Advanced Training at FCH-Católica, through which novobanco employees, within the scope of the Academia novobanco, benefit from special conditions when enrolling in the Faculty’s postgraduate offer. This initiative reinforces FCH-Católica’s commitment to lifelong learning and to the development of skills aligned with the current demands of the labor market.

The agreement was signed by the Dean of FCH-Católica, Professor Catarina Duff Burnay, and Ana Micaela Vala, Head of Learning and Development and Head of Culture at novobanco.

Novobanco is currently the fourth largest bank operating in Portugal, focusing its activity on the retail and corporate banking segments, as well as on asset management.
