6 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese, English

The learning objectives are: 1) Provide students with theoretical knowledge about the relationship established between media and narrative; 2) Encourage a critical perspective on digital audiences; 3) Analyze in depth strategies for producing narrative content for the digital environment; and 4) Develop skills in conceptualizing digital narratives.

Students are expected to understand the relevance of narrative in the digital communication ecosystem and to acquire theoretical skills that allow them to conceptualize applied narrative projects.

The learning objectives take into account the teaching method planned for the curricular unit, as there will be a direct link between theory and practice, in order to ensure the acquisition of essential skills for understanding the relevance of digital narratives, as well as for planning of projects of this nature that are focused on optimizing the user experience.
