Professor Rui Gaspar and the students of the Post-Graduate Program in Public Health Communication, from the School of Post-Graduate and Advanced Training of FCH, are collaborating with the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) in the production of guiding principles for communication in crisis situation in the context of the current pandemic caused by the new Coronavirus.
The students have been carrying out social media monitoring actions, having also participated in the production of the report "Guiding principles for risk and crisis communication, based on risk perception" recently published by DGS.
This report aims to reinforce DGS’s communication strategy for the Coronavirus 2019-nCoV outbreak and to costumize the communicated information to people's perceptions of risk and hazard template.
