Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship

6 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese

Develop the contents of Innovation and social entrepreneurship, with the premise of (i) reflecting, discussing and understanding the potential and constraints that they place on Social Work, (ii) but also the historical relationship they maintain with the profession.

To learn analytical and communicational skills related to the theoretical and practical field in question, awareness of the opportunity and diversity of social responses.

The students should be able to develop skills around the “critical-innovative spirit”, proactive and resilient, which allows them to substantiate sustained and sustainable professional projects. They should also be able to identify proximity and gaps between social innovation, social entrepreneurship and Social Work.
