Leonor Modesto is Full Professor at the CATÓLICA-LISBON School of Business and Economics of the Portuguese Catholic University and she is the President of the Scientific Council of CATÓLICA-LISBON. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain (1987). Her research interests cover macroeconomic dynamics, more specifically endogenous business cycles and the role of market distortions for the existence of indeterminacy and multiple equilibria, and labour economics (education, labour market dynamics, trade unions, employment policies, and labour market failures in general). She has published inseveral jornals including Economic Theory, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Labor Economics, or the Journal of Population Economics.
