CRC-W researchers honoured in the 7th edition of the António Dornelas Prize

In the 7th edition of the António Dornelas Prize, announced in December 2024, the article «Caminhos para uma Reforma do Sistema de Promoção e Proteção das Crianças e Jovens – Recomendações» was awarded one of the first prizes.

The article was written by Elisete Diogo and Bárbara Mourão Sacur, both researchers at the Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing (CRC-W), and Paulo Guerra, lecturers on the Postgraduate Program in the System for the Promotion and Protection of Children and Young People at the Faculty of Human Sciences, a program that trains professionals to intervene effectively in the system for the protection and promotion of the rights of children and young people.

The António Dornelas Prize, created by the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, aims to reward scientific and technical work in the areas of labour, employment, vocational training, social security, solidarity and inclusion. The award ceremony will take place in 2025, with the presence of various personalities from the national scene.
