Bio

PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa). Researcher in the area of Media Studies in the scope of radio and television communication.  He is a founding member of the Radio and Sound Media Studies Group of Sopcom and was part of the CAPP (ULisboa) research project. He has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University since 1996. Alongside his teaching activity, he is the author of training programmes for radio and television professionals and is currently a trainer for journalists/pivots at TVI and CNN Portugal. A consultant and trainer in high performance in oral communication skills, he develops media training and public speaking programmes, time management and strategic planning of events workshops. He was a radio (RFM/RR) and television (RTP/TVI) presenter, programme director at RFM and production director at Rádio Renascença. He has worked professionally at Intervoz and at FUN Comunicação, of which he is a founder.
