PhD in textual criticism by the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, she is a professor of Portuguese language at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Researcher at Cátedra Camilo Castelo Branco, she works on the project “Critical edition of the Correspondence” and is a member of the project “Critical and genetic edition of Camilo Castelo Branco”, at the Centre for Linguistics of the University of Lisbon. Her main research areas are textual criticism, genetic criticism, and Portuguese literature. She is co-author of the critical editions of Novelas do Minho and Carlota Ângela, by Camilo Castelo Branco, and was part of the team responsible for the critical edition of Crónica de D. João I – part I, by Fernão Lopes, published by Imprensa Nacional.
