CECC researcher Joana Meirim was awarded the 2022 Prémio Imprensa Nacional/Vasco Graça Moura for her PhD thesis in Theory of Literature, intitled Uma Carta à Posteridade – Jorge de Sena e Alexandre O’Neill.
Awarded by INCM-Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda, the prize seeks to highlight unpublished works in the areas in which Vasco Graça Moura got particularly well-known, namely Poetry, Essay and Translation. More information is available here.
Joana Meirim was also responsible for other works related to Jorge de Sena and Alexandre O'Neill. For instance, and in what concerns the latter, she was the PI of the project Lugares de O’Neill, and she edited the books E a minha festa de homenagem? Ensaios para Alexandre O'Neill (2018, Tinta da China) and 'Diz-lhes que estás ocupado': Conversas com Alexandre O'Neill (2021, Tinta da China). Regarding the former, she co-edited A crítica de Jorge de Sena (2022, Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal).
