Cognitive-affective processes and global environmental changes

6 ECTS / Semester / English

The main goals of this course are:

  1. Acquire essential knowledge of the vast field of research on basic cognitive processes, namely those most relevant to understanding the mechanisms of processing environmental information relevant to behavioural change.
  2. Develop awareness of the broad spectrum of methodologies and measures that are currently used in the study of basic processes.
  3. Identify the theoretical frameworks and methodologies that suit the students own research interests.
  4. Develop critical thinking about research and be able to analyse projects and scientific articles on basic cognitive processes, as well as being able to conduct discussions oriented towards future research perspectives.
  5. Develop the ability to plan and implement the theoretical and methodological knowledge acquired in fundamental research in Psychology of Environmental Sustainability and application in their professional contexts.
