Bio

I am an associate member of the LanCog Group at the Philosophy Center of the University of Lisbon, where I work as a researcher and editorial assistant for the Online Compendium of Problems in Analytic Philosophy. During my time as an FCT researcher, I taught subjects in the Philosophy degree program at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, in the areas of Epistemology, Metaphysics and Applied Ethics. I am currently a guest lecturer at the Catholic University, where I teach an undergraduate course on Knowledge and Reality in the Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree program. I obtained a PhD in Epistemology and Philosophy of Science from the University of Lisbon, with a thesis on the foundations of expected utility theory. At the present time, I am mainly interested in formal aspects of value theory, the logic of belief revision and several topics in applied ethics.
