Bio

Professor at the FCH – Faculty of Human Sciences, UCP – Catholic University of Portugal since 2001 lecturing English on the Communications Studies undergraduate program, Specific Translation of English on the Translation program and the seminar entitled "The Teaching of Writing " and the ILE class on the Master's Degree in Applied Foreign Languages. She graduated in Modern Languages and Literatures, Portuguese-English option, from the Faculty of Letters, Nova University of Lisbon and gained her Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics from the Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon with the dissertation "Análise de Género: Uma Abordagem para o Ensino/ Aprendizagem da Escrita Argumentativa na Aula de ILE." She is a doctoral degree student at the UCP under the supervision of Prof. Isabel Casanova and undertakes research in Applied Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Theory of Gender, Register and Multimodality.
