When the course concludes, students should be able to understand the construction of the journalistic language, the stages of news production and the relevance and function of genres; should also have learnt how to distinguish between genres and master writing techniques of the most common genres and have taken awareness about the challenges of journalism and its importance in a context of narrative proliferation.
