This month’s InterCECCtions will be focused on journalism and feature two PhD students in Communication Sciences: Raya Khachatryan, who will be presenting her research on memorial journalism and the Armenian genocide, and Inês Ferreira Fernandes, who will talk about her archival research on newspapers published under the period of Estado Novo and censorship in Portugal.

The session will be on April 17, 2024, at 5 pm, in Sala Timor (first floor, library building, UCP Lisbon campus).

As a reminder, InterCECCtions is a monthly research roundtable for the CECC community, particularly graduate students and early career researchers. These meetings aim to provide an informal space for graduate students and CECC researchers to share ongoing research projects and challenges, get feedback and exchange ideas, and find opportunities for collaboration.
