She holds a BA in Modern Languages and Literatures - English and German Studies (1998), and a Master’s Degree in German Studies (2002), both from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. She also holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2014).

She has worked as a professional freelance translator of English, German and Dutch since 1998, with a particular focus in legal translation. She collaborates with the European Court of Justice since 2017 (as a freelancer lawyer linguist), and collaborates with law firms, courts and translation agencies. She has several of her translations published, fiction and non-fiction.
