Professor Catarina Duff Burnay, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences, will be a member of the commission responsible for drafting the white paper on public service media. 

This commission will reflect on the evolution undergone in recent decades by public service radio and television within the European context, as a result of profound technological and social changes, further accelerated by the pandemic. These have had a strong impact on how we consume radio and television, namely in the emergence of online platforms and streaming.

The aim is to itemize the challenges faced by this sector, during a time of profound changes, in order to anticipate and prepare the review of RTP's licence contract. Learn more here.
