On June 19, took place the inauguration of the FCH Psychology Lab, a facility that includes an Experimental Psychology and Psychophysiology Lab and a multipurpose room for behavioral studies with focus groups.

"This day represents the fulfillment of a dream of the Research Center - the Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family & Social Wellbeing (CRC-W), and of the Scientific Area of Psychology" said FCH Director, Professor Nelson Ribeiro.

The Experimental Psychology and Psychophysiology Lab, with equipment and software that allow the strict control of experiments and the acquisition of physiological signals, allows the realization of a diversity of studies. According to the director of the Psychology Lab and current Coordinator of the CRC-W, "the Laboratory will serve, above all, the interests of research and teaching, in a collective and dynamic process, in favor of the community, focusing on ethical rigor and contributing to a better society".

The Lab also includes a space dedicated to behavioral studies, with an observation cubicle, allowing for the development of studies ranging from the observation of specific interactions, clinical consultation training, neuropsychological assessment, or studies involving focus groups.
