The 43rd edition of APEAA: Associação Portuguesa de Estudos Anglo-americanos' conference is taking place at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Lisbon, from 1 to 3 June 2023.
The fundamental aim of the meeting is to question how selves are socially and aesthetically constructed and/or deployed, and to address the situatedness of the debates around the self and identity.
