1. Understand child and youth development as an epigenetic, dynamic and contextual process. 2. Critically reflect regarding child and youth development in different contexts, applying the ecological model of human development. 3. Explain normative child and youth development, identifying the main developmental milestones. 4. Describe and apply activities targeting the promotion of child and youth development and wellbeing. 5. Recognize and analyze various common challenges and problems in each stage of the development of children and adolescents and propose preventive and therapeutic actions. 6. Reflect on the importance of prevention work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, families and other social actors.
