Rita Curvelo

Assistant Professor

PhD in Media and Journalism Studies in 2019 at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Master in Museology and Museography at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon, in 2013. Post-graduated in Marketing at the Catholic Lisbon School of Business and Economics of the Catholic University of Portugal, in 2006. BA in Social and Cultural Communication at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Catholic University of Portugal, in 1999.

Assistant professor since 2020 at the Faculty of Human Sciences-UCP, teaching the courses of Organizational Communication, Radio Communication, Interpersonal Communication and Publics and Audiences. Invited Assistant at the same Faculty from 2000 to 2019.

Omnicom PR Group’s Communication consultant between 2017 and 2019, and Renascença Multimédia Group’s Communication Professional between 1999 and 2015, with a strong specialization in all areas of Radio Communication.

Main research areas: radio communication and production studies, organizational communication and cultural marketing.
