Public health specialist at the Amélia Leitão Public Health Unit - ACES Cascais. Holds a Master's degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lisbon, a Master's degree in Public Health from the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine at the NOVA University of Lisbon, a postgraduate degree in Data Visualization (ISCTE-IUL and Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon), and a postgraduate degree in Public Health Communication (Faculty of Human Sciences - Catholic University of Lisbon). Since 2023, has been a guest assistant professor in the elective course of Health Communication in the Bachelor's program in Social and Cultural Communication at the Faculty of Human Sciences - Portuguese Catholic University. After completing the Postgraduate Program in Public Health Communication at the Faculty of Human Sciences - Catholic University of Portugal as a student, has been collaborating as a guest lecturer in the Project II course since 2020. He is also a lecturer, trainer, and consultant in health communication, data visualization, and infodemic management at other universities and projects.
He is the founder of the Academia de Comunicação em Saúde®, a brand dedicated to providing training in health communication. His main areas of research and publication are health communication and health planning.
