She holds a PhD in Economics from the Portuguese Catholic University (1999) and is Assistant Professor at FCEE - Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.

Between 2005 and 2017 she was Member of the Dean's Office of Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and worked as Academic Director of Undergraduate programs.

Her main areas of academic interest and activity include Introductory Economics, Banking and Financial Institutions, Quantitative Methods and Portuguese Economy.
