Ricardo Araújo Pereira and Afonso Pimentel, former students of the Undergraduate Degree in Communication and Cultural Sciences, were awarded a Golden Globe yesterday, September 29, at the XXVIII Golden Globes Gala.
This is the fifth time that comedian Ricardo Araújo Pereira has won the award for Personality of the Year in the Humor Category (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024). In his speech, he mentioned his other colleagues who were competing in the same category: Herman José, César Mourão, Guilherme Geirinhas and Joana Marques.
The Portuguese actor won Best Actor for his roles in the series “Matilha” and “Rabo de Peixe”. This is Afonso Pimentel's second Golden Globe in the same category, after winning for the project “Coisa Ruim” in 2007.
Congratulations to both!
