
On March 29, the Faculty of Human Sciences will welcome Professor Gilles Lipovetsky (University of Grenoble) for a conference entitled "Le nouvel âge de l'authenticité".
Known as the philosopher of hypermodernity, Gilles Lipovetsky is a member of the Council for the Analysis of Society with the French Prime Minister and has written extensively on the transformations experienced by contemporary society. He is one of the European thinkers who has most influenced social analysis in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.
The conference is part of the '50 Years Conferences' cycle, which marks the foundation of FCH in the academic year 1972-73.
The event will take place in room 511 at 6:30 pm.
