2.5 ECTs / Semester / Portuguese

Based on intensive reading, listening, speaking, writing and "role play" activities, as well as grammar exercises, the objective is to enable students to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and structures that are required for specific needs: introducing themselves and others, asking and answering questions about personal information and familiar topics with the main purpose of interacting with other speakers; understanding and interpreting simple oral and written texts, and producing written texts in which the basic grammar structures presented are applied. Therefore the desired level in the Language Reference for Common European Framework is A1.
