PhD in Geography from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon since 2009. She has a Master's degree in Communication, Culture and Information Technology from ISCTE and a Degree in Social and Cultural Communication - Tourism Variant from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (1997). She also has a Bachelor degree in Tour Operator Management from ESHTE. She has been an Assistant Professor since 2009, teaching in higher education in the areas of Tourism, Communication and Heritage for over 25 years, in institutions where she held various Coordination, Direction and Management positions. It belongs to the Center for Geographic Studies at the University of Lisbon. He collaborates on Master's and Doctorate courses, having supervised both national and foreign theses. She participated in several funded research projects and other consultancy projects. She is the author of several scientific articles in national and international research journals, books, book chapters either individually or in co-authorship in the areas of Tourism, Wine Tourism, Tourism Communication and Marketing, Ethics and Social Responsibility and Health and Well-being Tourism.
