Universidade Católica organizes Conference “When the Past Drives the News, and Why We Should Care” with Barbie Zelizer

On February 1, at its headquarters in Lisbon, Universidade Católica Portuguesa will promote the Conference "When the Past Drives the News, and Why We Should Care" with Professor Barbie Zelizer.

Known for her work on journalism, culture, memory, and images, particularly in times of crisis, Barbie Zelizer is the Director of the Center for Media at Risk at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communication. She is also the co-organizer of the Lisbon Winter School for the Study of Communication, an annual event of the PhD in Communication Studies of the Faculty of Human Sciences with the support of the Research Center for Communication and Culture. 

The conference will take place in Sala de Exposições, at the University's headquarters in Lisbon.
