The International Journal of Communication (IJoC) has just published a Special Section on Media and Uncertainty co-edited by Nelson Ribeiro (CECC researcher) and Barbie Zelizer (University of Pennsylvania, USA).

The section aims to discuss the uncertainty faced by media practitioners and journalists, as well as the institutional settings in which they work.

It comprises a collection of papers presented at the 2nd edition of the Lisbon Winter School for the Study of Communication, organized by CECC and the PhD Programme in Communication Studies at the Faculty of Human Sciences.
