Objectives:  the exercise of attentive, in-depth and extensive reading of the texts to be translated; the identification of the linguistic-cultural contexts of the source text; the improvement of research methodologies preparatory to the act of translating;  clarifying and correcting aspects of the Portuguese language;  the development of strategies and instruments leading to the production of quality translations.
