Seminar Social Media, Fake News and Cybersecurity

The seminar aims to discuss the opportunities and challenges brought by the online information environment. The opening keynote will be delivered by Philip M. Napoli ( Sanford School of Public Policy) on  "Defining and Combating Market Failure in the Algorithmic Marketplace of Ideas”. Throughout the day several roundtables will discuss topics such as fake news and journalism, social media regulation and cybersecurity. The closing keynote will be delivered by Lukasz Porwol (National University of Ireland, Galway) on "Cybersecurity in Everyday Life: citizens, families and organizations".
