Holder of a Doctoral Degree in History from the Lusíada University with a thesis entitled "Musealização do sagrado: Práticas museológicas em torno de objectos do culto católico". A member of the organising commissions for the Encounters of Cultures exhibition (Lisbon, 1994; Vatican, 1996), Fons Vitae (Pavilhão da Santa Sé na Expo'98) and 500 Years of Portuguese Misericórdias (Lisboa, 2000) and contributing towards the respective catalogues. She was also a member of the working group for the Portuguese version of "Thesaurus: vocabulary of Catholic objects of worship." Has worked at DigiCult since 2001 involving the electronic publication of manuscripts, incunabula and classical books, especially for the Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon and for the General Library of the University of Coimbra. She lectures on Museology and Heritage at the Catholic University of Portugal and on the General History of Art, History of Art in Portugal and History of Contemporary Art at the Higher Institute of Languages and Administration. He supervises Master's and Doctoral Degrees dissertations in the field of Museology. Standing out among his publications are: "Altar cristão: evolução até à Reforma Católica", Lisbon, Universidade Lusíada, (2004); "O sagrado no museu: musealização de objectos do culto católico em contexto português", Lisbon: Universidade Católica Editora, 2011.
