Nuno Conde holds a Ph.D in Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Human Sciences (FCH, Portuguese acronym) of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP, Portuguese acronym). He is Invited Assistant Professor in Communication Studies at the FCH-UCP. He is a Researcher at the Research Center for Communication and Culture (CECC, Portuguese acronym). He was a member of the research project "South Atlantic Media Groups. Singularities of Lusophone Modernity", funded by FCT (EXPL/IVC-COM/1691/2012). Between 2004 and 2013 he was an Expert at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Section for Transport, Energy, Infrastructure and the Information Society. Between 2009 and 2011 he was member of the Ad hoc Advisory Group on Public Service Media Governance (MC-S-PG) at the Steering Committee on the Media and New Communication Services (CDMC), Council of Europe. His main areas of research are Comparative Media Policy Studies, Disinformation Online, Media Management and Economics, Public Service Media and Platform Studies.
